Need something beyond the standard system?

Bespoke Development extends the WIC Inventory & Fulfilment System where your operation requires functionality outside its standard scope.

The standard WIC system is built around a defined architecture and proven operational workflows. Where your requirements go beyond those boundaries, WIC will assess the requirement and determine the most appropriate solution.

Bespoke Development may include

  • Additional workflows and operational processes

  • Custom fields, records and business rules

  • New system functionality

  • Additional dashboards and reporting

  • System integrations and data connections

  • Operation-specific automation

  • Extensions to existing WIC functionality

  • Other technically feasible requirements agreed with WIC

How it works

Purchase the Requirements Assessment and submit the requirement you would like WIC to investigate.

WIC will assess the technical and operational scope of the requirement and determine the appropriate solution, scope and delivery approach.

Where the assessed work is within the value of the Requirements Assessment

If WIC determines that the requirement can be delivered within the value of the Requirements Assessment fee already paid, no additional quotation or payment will be required unless the agreed scope subsequently changes.

Where the assessed work exceeds the value of the Requirements Assessment

If the total value of the required work exceeds the Requirements Assessment fee, WIC will define the proposed solution, scope, timescale and total price.

The full Requirements Assessment fee already paid will then be credited against the total price of the resulting bespoke development. You will pay only the remaining balance.

For example:

Total assessed development value − Requirements Assessment fee already paid = remaining amount quoted

No additional bespoke development will commence until the resulting quotation has been accepted in accordance with WIC's applicable terms.

If you choose not to proceed with the resulting quotation, the Requirements Assessment fee remains payment for the assessment work already completed and is not converted into a general account credit.

Where an existing WIC capability can satisfy the requirement more economically, WIC may recommend that solution instead.

Your Requirements Assessment is not an additional development charge: where further bespoke development proceeds, its full value is credited against the resulting development price.
